My Problem depend on the Version of Java Runtime!

I tried with Java 6 --> then it is OK
With Java 7, I am running in problems with local pathnames.

Has anybody an idea??

Yes, that is what I understood. It should work!

Yes, that's my same problem. I've always liked my pages to run from a CDROM as 
well as from the web.
JSmol may work locally, but it tends to fail, depending on the types of files, 
scripts, etc. and also depending on the browser you use. I cannot summarize the 
exact situation. In addition, it uses hundreds of small js files, so not too 
nice for distribution on disk.

If you can pack some of your files in a zip and send them to me (private email 
off this list), I can have a look to see what may be the problem.
No need to include the applet files, just tell me what Jmol version they are.
