The reason why I wanted to activate the messages (especially for 
production) was as a means for the user to know that something is still 
going on before JSmol is actually visible.
The initial console seems to be far too heavy for that purpose.

So the message text itself is not really important. But if a text is 
shown I think it is quite disturbing if you can't read it at all.
