OK, sure. That's fine. So, actually, it is far easier just to not use the |
symbol, which was a very early attempt to do this, and just use the load
data command like this:
load data "mydata"
ATOM....
ATOM...
end data "mydata"
I think the problem is that you have this "2" there that is not part of the
PDB format, so it is first (probably) loading it as XYZ format but then
finding no atoms.
See if you can figure out how to get the Jmol "JavaScript Console" to show
up (perhaps from the popup menu) if in HTML5 or find the Java console (if
using Java) and you will see some sort of error message there.
Just FYI, my first post to this list back in 2005 was asking to do exactly
this. Fun to be on the other end this time!
