I guess I may have missed that, but for POVRAY you just write a script that
you have worked out that ends with
write POVRAY "xxxxx.pov"
and then run that in batch mode from the command line using the -s option.
You can also use the -w flag, which specifically creates an image in
whatever format you want, including POVRay, and then exits.
