Hi all, I'm trying to use the "timeout" command to do something repeatedly until a file is retrieved and loaded into JSmol. The doc says the timeout will stop when zap or load are used, so I was expecting this to suit my needs.
I have managed to set a timeout that works, in the form timeout id "preload" -0.5 "commands" except that as soon as the subsequent load command is initiated, the timeout stops repeating itself until the download has finished (precisely the opposite of what I want the timeout for) Is there any solution that will keep running while the model file is fetched from the server? I've tried also using "load async" and "set scriptQueue off" without any differences. That's on JSmol 14.3.3 (2014.08.01) The 14.3.12 application behaves the same.
