Angel,

I think the only way you’re going to be able to do this is asynchronously, but 
load ASYNC appears to be broken on the version I’m using - 14.2.4 about a year 
old.

I’m curious about the specifics of your plan. What are you trying to do?

1) Play with the existing model during new loading.
2) Put some type of active message in the window during new loading.
3) Kill time with some kind a entertaining Jmol play ala Miguel Howard.

I like the idea of doing something like this on long loads.
