Hi

I have reports from 2 different people, accesing different pages of mine. When gzipped pdb files are involved, Safari fails to load the model into html5-JSmol

At least one of them reports "unrecognized file format" inside the Smol panel

Chrome works in the same systems.
So I think the problem is with loading zipped files via jsmol.php.  Has anything changed in the way Safari deals with this? I acnnot test since I have no access to Mac

test case
a) with gzipped files

http://biomodel.uah.es/metab/mitoc/ATPsintasa_mol.htm

b) with plain pdb files

http://biomodel.uah.es/metab/mitoc/ATPsintasa_mol-2.htm

(it takes a whle to load and process the 3 consecutive files; that's normal)

--Note: you might encounter that Chrome fails to load the gzipped files. That is a separate problem that I am seeing with Chrome but only occasionally; to me, it  looks like related to a timeout in my server's php.

Thanks for any reports in general, and hints for Safari behaviour.
