Uri,

I reread your posting and my previous reply. I was way too detailed.

I don't think it matters if you post or not; You are going to do what
you want to do anyway...

Also, I find it interesting about what you call yourself... Seems you
might be feeling guilt or shame about your conduct...

Lars

Subject: quandry

i have an interesting quandry. a few months ago i responded to job
posting from an agency. they didn't get me a phone interview because i
was out of town. a week later a friend contacted me and he is working at
the place that the posting was about. he got me a phone interview with a
top tech manager and in a bizarre twist the manager converted me into a
headhunter for him. i have done well so far with 3 submitted candidates,
two of which they interviewed on site (one from germany!) and one was
hired. i have seen other postings for this place by other agencies (it
is easy to tell). i am not sure if i should post to the list about this
too. it could be that the list is not the best way to find the specific
types they are looking for. i have been doing word of mouth, going
through my email address book and even reading use.perl journals and
checking out cpan stuff to see who i think would be a good match. so
should i also post to the list and cover how i will be better
connection/filter for these jobs? i don't want to mention the company
either. i am a new part time perl headhunting whore who finds the money
to be scary. :)

any thoughts?

uri
