I believe it is nice to know what is on offer; be it in Cape Town or in Jhb.

 

I find the objections strange because there are absolutely no java CT jobs coming through so at least the subscribers know the facility to post jobs is working but that there is just nothing going in CT.

 

Abacus, on the other hand, seems to be posting the same job(s) repeatedly - that is unfortunately how agencies work (if you have ever been through the process of trying to get a job through an agency).

 

Suggestion: Add location to the Jobs subscription page. It will be handy for searching the archives too it a user ever wanted to see what the trends are.

 

Another Suggestion: Mail campaign to the CT agencies - Where are their jobs? They are advertising in the papers but are not posting to CTJug.

That's an idea...

However looking at the past couple of months of job posts,
one gets the idea there just are no jobs in Cape Town??? 
(or maybe the Cape Town Agencies are living up to their laid back reputation.)

If they stop posting JHB jobs, there just might not be a java jobs user group.

Hi all,

Can we not specify that only Cape Town or overseas jobs should be posted on the Job List.
I just feel that ABACUS are abusing the privilege we afford them. Should Joburg jobs not
be posted on the Joburg User Group list???
