Job Description:
As a Data Support Developer you will play a key role in the production
of Saber Seven Technologies. Direct responsibilities will include the
instantiation and maintenance of storage architectures used for both
public and internal web systems as well as the Saber Seven data
stores. This position will also help in documenting data requirements
for web interfaces based on new or preexisting specifications created
in conjunction with the Director of Technology and other members of
Saber Seven's Technology team, specifying the data exchange format
with other constituents, and maintaining the implementation of data
abstraction software.
As Data Support Developer your responsibilities may also include the
documentation, and implementation of interfaces with external
service/content providers. You will work closely with the other
members of the Technology Team to ensure that data delivery
features will be compliant with standards, and leverage existing code
resources whenever possible.
Functional Areas:
Database development experience
• Maintaining, Documenting, Implementing
- schemas
- stored procedures
- data models
* Maintaining Data Access Code base (PHP, Stored Procedures)
Other desired attributes:
* Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills as well
as excellent proficiency in all communications methods
* Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills (cross-functionally
and interdepartmentally)
* Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization and time management
skills
* Relevant industry experience preferred
* Multi-national experience a plus
* Experience in forming strategic partnerships with functional
technology and business executives preferred
