Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia is seeking a developer who has experience in
designing, planning and implementing software projects for high traffic
Internet sites and mobile platforms from end-to-end. This is a role with a
fantastic growth path. The developer will work directly with web designers,
front-end developers, project managers, system administrators, DBAs and
business owners to implement high-performance dynamic and interactive web-based

all of the various platforms and applications that feed and support our
consumer facing web site, mobile and other application platforms. The ideal
candidate should be highly motivated to build robust back-end systems.

We seek someone who is not content merely to make something work, but who
instinctively wants to participate in the problem solving process with a view
to the implications of how problems are solved. An enthusiasm for task
ownership, order and attention to detail and an instinctive desire to
systematize and organize will make this position a joyful and rewarding one.

content management systems, object-oriented design, application architecture
