Stephen, I'm sorry but I dont understand your solution, maybe my need is not very clear, or maybe I'm drunk (possible after last night ;-)) The explicit example is : Let's take ld = LocalDate(2006,8,13) , I would like a function that returns me 3 (meaning 3rd trimester) and another function that returns new LocalDate(2006,7,1) regarding the 1st day of the 3rd trimester.
