Issa: Thanx for the recommendation, I'll give songbird a try. Ala'a: unfortunately the laptop is 5 years old, we're talking about 512 ram, 1.2 GHz cpu and other such shameful specifications. Virtual machines are definitely out, and I don't know if wine would fair any better. Will give it a spin if my dad does not like songbird.
