JOnAS 1.5 is available on the web site (http://www.bullsoft.com/ejb)
You can now choose between 3 tar files:
- jonas source code
- jonas binary distribution for JDK 1.2
- jonas binary distribution for JDK 1.1
As required by some users, we do not use anymore Installshield. Downloadable
files are provided as .tar.gz format which can be processed both on UNIX and NT (using
Winzip).
The packaging has been changed. JOnAS is now in org.objectweb.jonas.
Thus, all files have been renamed. The overall architecture has been
changed to reflect these changes. Some files have been renamed (from bull to jonas),
i.e. BullEJB.properties is now jonas.properties.
A preprocessor has been added. The source files that were JDK dependant
are now .jpp files, including #ifdef lines.
JOnAS source code is now available thru CVS.
To start working with CVS on jonas, you must make a "checkout" of the jonas
module with a command like this:
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/objectweb login
(passwd is cvs)
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/objectweb co jonas
