I was able to run the example in jonas/examples/src/eb. From looking at the code, it
seems like it's making use of transactions (in the deployment descriptors, TX_REQUIRED
was set....), and no exceptions were thrown. Maybe I'm off base and am talking about
totally different stuff? Or maybe the example's not exercising the full capability of
transactions, where my setup would break with MySQL? How would it break, what kind of
exceptions would be thrown? FWIW, I'm running the jonas_jdk1.1.tar.gz package under
the IBM jdk 1.1.8.
Thanks,
Rich
