JOnAS is an implementation of the EJB specification
You can find comparison between EJB specifications and COM+/MTS
somewhere on the web...
In the current version of JOnAS you will find
a Transaction Manager (providing JTA support and distributed transaction
coordination)
a Database Manager providing JDBC support, a JMS service for messaging,
security
aspect of EJB
