The original notice of this wonderful show was a jpeg of the show poster
sent to Michael Paz by John Kelly. Michael posted it to the labor day
fest list, which allows attachments. The JMDL and Digest do not allow
attachments, so here's the details:
Free at the 6 & B Garden
(at the corner of 6th Street and Avenue B in NYC)
Friday August 24th, 7:30 PM
Paved Paradise
John Kelly's homage to Joni Mitchell
Performed with Zecca Esquibel as Georgia O'Keefe on keyboard
John Kelly is a 2001 Artists Fellowship recipient of the New York
Foundation for the Arts. This presentation is cosponsered by Artists
and Audiences Exchange, a Public Service program of the New York
Foundation for the Arts
I hope that a bunch of us can make it there.
If it is anything like the 1997 performance in Bryant Park, it is an
experience not to be missed
take care everyone,
