I know i didn't get there first and i am sure i am one of many, but Song of bernadette trips me out completely. It is without doubt one of the most beautiful songs written ever, god these canadians make me green, the best song writers and some of the greatest voices on the planet. I was equally taken with Jennifers version of Todd Rungrens Pretending to care on The Hunter. These two songs and Particularly Jenifers versions send me. Has anyone heard Bette Midlers Song of Bernadette? Nice but not quite there, however I think she did a smashing version of God give me Strength on Her new C.d even if it is a little sacharine in the arrangement. Anyway enough from me...except to let everyone in the u.k know Eddie Readers coming around again in October and if you get the chance see her....live is best and Eddie is best live.
