I see your point, Nuri, and I think it's similar to Joni beating out Christina &
Britney for a Grammy. I mean, so what? Put her up against her peers, and the award
would mean something, and yes she did have some peers last year.
But I'm with Leslie too (although not slow-dancing, shucks!) in that a Joni appearance
is ALWAYS good news. And if she can turn the heads and ears of a couple of MTV
junkies, more power to her.
