No one was told what to write or not write. GENTLE REQUESTS have been
made to please tone down the fighting which has been stirred up by politics
and such. Jonifest 2001 was such a peaceful haven from the craziness and
heartache in the world and it stands out even more clearly now as one of the
most HAPPIEST experiences I have ever had. It was really a life changing
experience, a time that has touched me very deeply, and I would like to see
that spirit nurtured on this list. I think everybody has been affected by
the past few days in more ways than we could possibly fathom. Please help
make this place a haven right now where we can find healing, peace, love,
and nurturing. Please make that CHOICE.
I thought of this song below and how really poignant it is right now
Fragile by Sting
If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one
Drying in the color of the evening sun
Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away
But something in our minds will always stay
Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetime's argument
That nothing comes from violence
and nothing ever could
For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are
On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are
How fragile we are
On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are
How fragile we are

Come when you lay down your head.
While you are sleeping, they kiss you and tell you,
That you are the reason the sun lights the sky."
