Colin,
Did we read the same post? Laurent was pointing out that a number of
terrorists activities are attributable to the Palestinians. Why didn't you
address his assertion with an intellectual argument? He asserted that
intifada has resulted in far fewer Palestinian dead than the terrorist
attack on civilians on the other side of the planet.
What's the point of trying to shame Laurent? You expressed your opinion but
you didn't pursuade anyone.
You are just blaming the messenger. I would say that the terrorism is
"disgusting, outrageous, cruel and mean spirited" as you put it. Laurent
didn't even do any name-calling. (Although YOU did.)
He merely asked if anyone can ever again doubt that Israel has legitimate
security concerns. How could anyone be offended by that? It's completely
obvious that Israel has a legitimate security concern, so how is there any
shame for Laurent in stating that?
And so, Colin, I stand before you today, boldly stating that the sky is
"blue". Am I shamed forever for stating the obvious? I'm sorry, bud. I'm
not with you in this campaign.

"Mend your speech a little, lest you mar your fortunes."
