Blair's speech was deeply moving. I happened to hear it over BBC via
NPR, live, today, as I was late for work.

No one in our government is capable of making a speech like that - it
was intelligent, reasoned, eloquent, stirring - oratory in the best of
senses. One of the most moving speeches that I have ever heard, ever.
Considering that I am not at all in favor of the military course of
action that Blair was clearly laying out, it was such a "rally to the
cause" speech based on substance and appeal to conscience that I was
ready to enlist - well, not quite, but it was that moving of a speech.
How I wish the issues could be framed in this country with that
eloquence.

British JMDLers, does Blair always speak like that, or was that an
exception for him?
