Well, at least they had to actually WRITE something. Nowadays the teachers all have pre-written comments, from which they can choose electronically, and it prints it on the card. Point & Click. Pretty obvious when you get 6 teachers all saying, "A joy to have in class"... I usually got several "doesn't work up to his potential" every year...and I would always think, "well, after all, who the hell DOES!" ;~) Bob NP: Laura Nyro "Sweet Blindness"
