I. I trust all on this list, and Joni herself, join me in mourning the 
passing of George Harrison at age 58, yesterday, 29 Nov. 2001.

II. A belated happy birthday to Jim, and thanks to him for maintaining the 
site.

III. An even more belated birthday to Brian. In her own public greetings to 
him, his wife uses the spellings "Brei" and "boi." Now, I suppose "Brei" is 
a phonetic rending of the first syllable of "Brian" -- if it were spelled 
"Bri" or "Brie," others might read it and pronounce it mentally (or aloud) 
as "bree." But what is the significance of spelling "boy" as "boi"? This 
inquiring mind wants to know.
