I've always been hot and cold on Stevie, really enjoyed some of it. I like her low
throaty moany growl that she uses (think "Rooms On Fire"), but not the higher pitched
raspy whine ("Leather and Lace"). I have the box set that came out a few years ago,
which has an incredible song on it that is a true moment of beauty called "I Sing For
The Things" (maybe from "Rock A Little"?) She has her moments..."Trouble In
Shangri-La" didn't do too much for me; I liked the title track and one or two others,
but I found it mostly forgettable. And that plug at its release (coincidence?
Methinks not...) when she did the Destiny's Child video was just plain silly.
