Hi Mikes.

I cannot thank you enough for the patches you did for me. (Got more?)
-A very good 8 should be standard gear for a Joni player. It is
sooooooo, sooooooo cool. You can get a very clean sound out of it, for
them that long for it. There are many guitar sounds programed into the
evil bugger. -I happen to love the chorus effect of Joni's TTT settings.
It's the "sameness" of the sound, and the fact that many of the open
tunings are very similar to each other, that kind of 'dulls' the
recording, not a muddiness. Least not to my ears. I think TTT perhaps
sets a precursor for Joni's BSN. She obviously loves a 'stacked' sound.
The more layered the better. I'm chorus with Joni fever.

Why Tiger Bones? Easy, I think she's very proud of the music and her
performance of it. It is beautiful enough to stand on it's own. It also
lends an air to the entire recording, an aural portrait if you will.
Also, it segues the covered song to the body of her own music.

If I could have everything in the world, well besides Jan van Eyck's
Arnofini Wedding, Bob Muller's Joni Collection, a life time supply of
animal crackers and brandy alexanders, and lifetime free membership to
Bally's to work them off, I would love to add the recordings of Joni's
tracks. both with and without voice.

Who says I want for too much?
