That's true, because I think Joni keeps all those secrets deep in her own heart. Whenever an interviewer tries to 'pry' about those sorts of things, Joni's quick to shut it down or divert. So the only clues we get are typically from others who let something slip tangentially. I figured you'd appreciate that little illumination on one of your FTR songs! ;~) I suppose the Joni-Jackson relationship is so ugly in the wake of "Not to Blame" and the resulting tabloids that it's not mentioned much. As for "Trouble Child", I really don't think it's ONLY about Crosby. Surely his experiences were an influence.
