I couldn't help but noticed that in PWWAM, when she sang that line -- I get the feeling it's her favorite line in the song, the way she tends to draaaaaaag it out -- she glanced over at LK, who is losin' his, too. Although obviously she didn't know LK when she wrote the line -- he would've been, what, 20 at the time, still in college? The line seems to have "gained weight" as history goes by. It's a safe, one -- a lot of men's hairlines recede, including mine (slowly but surely) -- anyway, although it's a bit of a zinger, it seems to have (imho) more than a glimmer of fondness and hopefulness to it, too... A hope that she'll be with someone long enough to *notice* that his hairline's receding. Smiling, Walt
