Joni's piano style is very guitaristic, and more specifically,
Joni-guitaristic -- complete with its dense and complex tight clusters of
consonant dissonance embedded within more traditional chord shapes.

My own piano playing is very influenced by Joni ... I hear it, others may or
may not. I've also been influenced by many others like Keith Jarrett, Bill
Evans, Herbie Hancock, Lyle Mays, Paul Bley, Art Lande, Fred Hersch so the
Joni influence may be too many layers down to readily detect.
