Apparently because she wants it this way. From what I've read, going on with more Fleetwood Mac is the last thing Christine wants to do - a door it took her years to shut that she will not willingly reopen. She is secluded in retirement, and that's how she wants her life now - quiet and private. No more clashing egos, no more remnants of stale romances, no more drug and alcohol abuse destroying people around her...can you blame the gal?
If you read about the band dynamic, it seems as though Mick has a way of guilting these folks to get together and make 'one more record' every few years...Christine just isn't putting up with it anymore.
