He does do a lot of quick, throw-away lines in between songs. I find it
easier to understand him if I relax and don't try to understand him;
then I'm no longer translating and all of a sudden I have a British
accent too (in my head) and he's making perfect sense. 

His pronunciation when he's singing is very clear compared to most
singers I think, and I can usually understand everything he sings, even
when I haven't heard it before. And, if I don't have a clue what he's
singing about, there's always the 1-man-sounding-like-3 guitar-playing
to be swooped up in.

And Alison, who I keep looking for in those Salt Lake City Olympic Games
crowds I'm seeing on TV (where are ya, girl? :-), says:

Yes, indeedy. What a guy!!! (sigh) (even when I can't understand what
he's saying)
