yes you are right. different backgrounds. I was an Army child which I think would
account for it. I also lived for 20 years in a deprived area and the attitude was
common.
As for the com ents about the English being disliked by Weslh, Scots and Irish and
the English disliking evryone, of course it is a genralisisation but one with
truth in it. Obviously if it applied to ALL of these people, well we'd be at war
wouldn't we?
