i agree with both Gene and Lori. Cloning of pets won't work. They will not have the same personality. as with people, their experiences will differ so their personalities will differ. So you might have an animal/person that looks the same but behaves differently. There is no way you will be ablt to re create any person or animal like a pet.
Even from the pov of a showdog/cat that is a great sire/dam. If you clone and clone and clone that same animal can be used to sire or mother for many many many more years. BUT it won't get you anwhere. you won't evolve/imporve;you'll stay in arut. Not to mention the faults that come with cloning. I think scientists and people would do far better working on the acceptence of death instead of the running from it that we all do. So much is done in the name of healing that is harmful and causes more pain and grief. Death is natural and will happen to all of us at some point. Life it self wuld be lived much better if we accept that fact and stopped denying it and trying to run from it. A life lived in denial and on the run is not a life well lived.
