I never liked Dylan. I never liked his voice, and never "got" him. Poor Maggie. When we went to the NYC show with Joni and Dylan in '98 (?) I kept pouting and asking if we could leave all through Dylan's set. Besides bugging the crap out of her, she was highly embarrassed because one of Dylan's entourage was sitting right next to us! But am finding these discussions really very interesting, and Mark's quote from Joni with Bob linking the above have made me think I need to do what I ask my kids to do when eating a new food......at least "try." Is there anyone out there who would be willing to make me a Dylan mix of what you consider to be his best songs, or songs that might help me "get him?" I'm going to try to turn over a new leaf, if not for my sake, at least for the Culinary Queen's sake!! (Gotta keep her happy for Jonifest!!) :-) Hugs, Ashara
