OK, so I'm one of those people who write (or wrote) technical manuals. I used to be very good at it and the manuals were very clear. But since I started working for my current employer, I have to admit that I don't really 'get' the technology. So I have to rely on engineers who don't speak any known language. To decipher their communication and write something understandable takes all my time and energy. A lot of writers just give up and trust whatever others tell them, which makes for rotten manuals. So, that's why (after I'm off disability) I'm going to change careers. lots of love Anne
