I've been unable to keep up with my JMDL reading since
my monitor died (4 months out of warranty).  You asked
me if I really thought, (as I said in the essay) that
Joan/Joni is painless now that she's reacquinted with
Kelly/Kilaruen.  I don't think that.  I know it's way
more complex than that.

In the essay, I was exploring whether or not the
Kelly/Kilauren timeline could be tied to her
precipitous drop in interest (and quality?) of
writing.  I was *amazed* how strong the link was and
in my enthusiasm to publish, I overstated the
'painless' aspect.  Maybe instead of being pain-free,
she's putting all of her energy *into* Kelly/Kilauren
where previously it went into writing.

Thanks for posting about your experience, Mags.  It's
really a beautiful and human thing to share with us. 
It sounds like it must be one of the most profound
experiences possible.  Thank you.
