Mags, that was very touching and beautiful and I could almost feel your angst. Thanks for sharing that. I often have wondered how my deciding (in the 5th grade) to stay with the Bush's affected my biologicial mother. (She remarried at that time and my older two siblings returned to her but I could not.) I know it must hurt her that I cannot be closer to her now. Your post tells me much. I started my vacation tonight and had mulled over whether or not to visit her. I will do so now. Thanks.
