Rose, Thanks for the beautiful photos. I always wondered what Asbury Park was like when first introduced to Bruce's album long ago. The architecture is fantastic and very unique. I do hope they can get a move on soon to start restoring these buildings and moving ahead with the redevelopment plan. Often such plans, unfortunately, take years and years to come to fruition. I scanned through the plan and it does look like their intention is to preserve these buildings but so many factors can change from year to year with new city councils, planning commissions, different development interests and laws that sometimes the process can drag on and stall. I'd hate to see those structures left unattended for many more years. Maybe more vocal grass roots community involvement is needed! ;-) Kakki
