In the early hours of Monday 26th we are off on the very first trip we have ever taken together, and only my second trip as an adult. (my first being a road trip thru New England and Canada in 97). We are taking the car thru the Channel tunnel(35mins) to calais, france and driving down to Barcelona, Spain. From there we drive up thru France but the east side, to switzerland and then in Germany and possibly Denmark, then back thru The Netherlands and Belgium to Calais and home. I only hope the weather is going to be okay. Europe has been suffering bad floods this last week or so and here in the UK it has been raining for weeks and weeks with very little in the way of dry or hot weather, and also with floods.
In Barcelona we will be looking at dogs, puppies, with the view to be going back next year to bring one home. We will be bringing a Lhasa Apso stud back with us(the purpose of the trip). My current stud, Brad, will NOT be pleased. And he won't be getting any for a long time now. If I put a Joni tape on, the first side will see me thru that Chunnel! Imagaine all that way with all that sea over me. On second thoughts, don't think about it.....
