Gosh..I love hearing this stuff...such a high!! My first time: It was 1976..and Joni was touring with the L.A. Express. My beloved sister who was such a Joni fan took me to her concert. I did not know any of her music nor did I know what she looked like. She blew me away....when she walked out and sang...HELP ME.....wow....I was in a joni trance the entire concert. I have loved and appreciated her from that moment on. She wore a red silky blouse...black slacks...a black gaucho style hat (oh...a black vest) she had her hair all under the hat...only a little wisp exposed. Before the concert had ended she rolled up her sleeves..took her hat off......*MY ANALYST TOLD ME*.... I could go on...but I will just finish with this: When she sat down at the piano...she took me to a different world....never before or since has a artist done this to me. She became a very real part of my life ever since. And the next day I went out and bought her entire catalog. Here I am at the JMDL...I could not believe there was such a place...I'm so glad I found it!! Bree > Garret wrote: Bree asked: >Did you guys post how you were introduced to Joni?
