Okay people. I have put off asking this question since I have been here but cannot do so anymore. All these mentions of TI have put it into the player. I love the tune "Not to Blame." Joni is so captivating in voice on this one. I could wrap her up, hold her tight and kiss her til morning would come. The melody is lovely in the true sense of the word and the mesh of the music touches my heart. I cannot explain the last sentence any better for not musical am I, as those of you here. I have read that this tune is about Jackson Browne and Darryl Hannah. I denied it. I don't know why. I am no fan of his but this jewel could not be about something so ugly, could it? No, it can't be. The first part of it is easy to understand. What I don't understand is the part that begins with the drs. and their gloves. Does that have to do with the same subject or is she talking about something else here? Made me think of abortion. Explain please. love,
