Wouldn't that be an isthmus connecting them - isthmus being s lovely word no one ever uses in daily conversation? A peninsula, lovely word, is what Michigan is. Florida is also a peninsula, except we can manage an election and count the votes in Michigan. And, in Michigan, we don't detain three medical students of Middle Eastern heritage and hold them in detention and destroy all their belongings while the bomb sniffing dogs sniff through it all because they are Middle Eastern and thus, terrorists, because a lady in Georgia at a truck stop says so, which causes the medical students to lose their jobs because the Florida hospital is now afraid to have there terrorists on their staff... we don't do that in Michigan!
