She is well respected and could lend a lot of legitimacy to various artist rights campaigns and organizations. She could also attract more artists to the cause. Hell, even something as simple as giving a seminar to explain to artists why they should keep their publishing or do an admin deal instead of a co-publishing one. With all the activity that is being initiated and pushed by artists themselves as opposed to their managers or unions, it is an exciting time and I find it remarkably that she is absent from the scene.
