I loved this movie so much, I actually dragged a couple of friends to it
within a week of seeing it myself (with other friends who HATED it) for the
first time. Perhaps the most honest portrait of American life since
"Nashville" in, what, 1976 or so.
And Annette Benning! I loved her performance. She was robbed at the Academy
Awards!
I watch very little TV besides Letterman, but Ricky Fitz's reclusive mother
was brilliantly played by that actress who's on "West Wing." You know, what's
her name . . .
