Since our dental insurance would only pay for one treatment, I told him I was going to postpone it until he got older and his skull & jaw were more fully developed, and he last all of his baby teeth, etc. He became beligerent with me, and even went so far as to call my wife behind my back to tell her that if we didn't do this NOW our son could be disfigured for life. Needless to say, I told him to piss off and found a new dentist. Fast forward to when Nathan is 14, we (actually the orthodontist) put braces on him and the results are fantastic. And between insurance & my medical spending account, they weren't even that expensive. Ironically, neither me nor my wife had braces, but only because we didn't need them. Nathan had a couple of teeth that had nowhere to go and were going to be weird if left uncorrected. Bob NP: Days Of The New, "Flight Response"
