Kate, you're right of course. Unfortunately, we have the most extreme idiots running the country right now ... These are men (for the most part -- does anyone understand what's up with Condoleeza Rice??) who seem to have been totally lost as soon as the Cold War ended. They NEED an "enemy," they NEED black and white issues, and they need oil money. They don't really want to negotiate. They want war, regardless of the cost.
