For the first time today, I took a peek at the digest archives to see what you all discuss (I'm Joni only)--yikes!!! I was surprised to discover many posts labeled NJC that, to me, had Joni content or at least what I considered to be Joni content. And the comfort food thread was a real kick. Perhaps when the impending war and political discussion dies down, I will switch my status. I researched the Joni/Judy Newport incident and found the people magazine article. I was incorrect about what Joni said about Judy. The author stated that Joni was uncharacteristically unkind about the latest crop of girl singer-songwriters, and I had erroneously remembered that comment as referential to Judy. About Judy, Joni was quoted as saying "I've known stories of greater generosity." Hmmm. I've always had a mental image of Joni at the curb with her bags, waiting for Judy to arrive. LOL Ken
