actually, the thing that got me to reply to this was bob's np.  kansas!  and
not just any kansas, but a great unknown song, of which there are many off
that band's first two or three albums...

but to the joni content.  bob, could you post the tracklist of your first
sweet 16 again?  i don't remember if any of these are on bob's sweet 16, but
these are some of my favorite joni covers that i think should be on any
compilation:

river - robert downey jr
both sides now - cassandra wilson with pat martino, guitar
that song about the midway - bonnie raitt
urge for going - tom rush
