I hadn't heard of this expression before, but an ear worm is a song that sticks in your head, and you keep singing or humming it all day.
The top two ear worms in the past couple of years have been: 1.) "Who Let the Dogs Out" 2.) NSYNC singing the TV commercial "I want my baby back, baby back, baby back ribs" I can relate to that unfortunately. As for Joni, my ear worm Joni song is "Night Ride Home". I play that song while showering in the morning, and it stays with me all day, fortunately. Jimmy
