MG adds: My perspective is that Jim may have been talking more about the boundaries of love. At least that's my interpretation. With the recent rash of "reality" shows, I think that society gets a screwy view of what love really is and how to express it. They expect bonds and ties within the first viewing of a common ground and forget about appropriate boundaries, growth and nurturing. And I'm not even getting into mawkish doofball Hallmarkisms.
